Introducing Codebots Generate

The Codebots office has been a-buzz with excitement over the past few weeks while we prepared for the launch of a brand new product! Today, we’re pleased to introduce the beta of Codebots Generate.

Introducing Codebots Generate

We created the Codebots platform initially with the vision to empower teams to not just develop software quickly but to maintain their projects easily. We called this practice “Continuous Modernisation”. However, we understand that not all developers work on projects that require that level of ongoing iteration.

This lead to the creation of a simple, but equally powerful product with the sole purpose of creating a full stack codebase that can be edited and customised extensively. Check out our video below, running over what makes this C# code generator different.

How does it work?

Choose your options

The first thing you need to do is choose your options. Our tech stack options include things like GraphQL, REST API, React client-side, Docker and many more. These options allow you to detail the architecture of your application.

Model your application

The next thing you need to do is model out your application. To model out your application, you use the Entity Diagram builder. Entities are used to plan the database structure and gain insight into the system’s architecture.

See the bot write your files

Once you’ve modelled your application, watch as our bots write your files. Our fireworks are a visual representation of our bots writing your code and creating your file structure.

Own all your source code

Finally, your source code is delivered in a zip. Code generated by Codebots is developer-readable and comes with full documentation, making it easy to customise any application to your requirements.

Beta testing competition

To kick off the beta release of Codebots Generate we are giving our community access to Generate for free! We will also be running a competition for beta testers to go into the draw to win a Bose QC35 II headset. To enter, all you have to do is try out Codebots Generate and leave feedback in our beta testing forum. For the full details, visit the forum post here.

After beta testing, the pricing for Codebots Generate will be $40 USD per build.

Codebots Generate will not affect the functionality of our current platform, the only change to the current platform will be its rename to Codebots Iterate.
